Telespazio will participate at the 1st Liaison-Ishtar workshop on Lbs Trends and R&D, that will take place in Athens from the 28th to the 29th of September 2006.
Liaison is a research project, financed also by the European Commission on the Applications and Services Program for the Mobile User and Worker, and led by Telespazio and Alcatel Alenia Space. This project wants to provide end-to-end solutions for mobile and professional services (Police, Firemen, Electricity, Television, Disposed of refuses, Taxi and Security), using the combination of the existing standard and technologies with the innovation resulting from EGNOS and Galileo and from the latest networks of Telecommunications (GSM, UMTS, TETRA and WLAN).
Telespazio will be among the exhibitors with a booth, together with the partners of the project Geoconcept, Navteq, Alcatel Alenia Space and the University of Athens.
