From Monday 17 to Sunday 23 of July 2006, the Aerospace community will congregate at the 45th Farnborough International Airshow (London), one of the most important and qualifying events of the sector at the world level.

Telespazio will take part at the Show, within the Finmeccanica exhibition area (n. E02), together with other companies of the Group: Aermacchi, AgustaWestland, Alcatel Alenia Space, Alenia Aeronautica, DATAMAT, Elsag, SELEX Service Management, SELEX Communications, SELEX Sensors & Airborne Systems Spa (composed by Galileo Avionica and by SELEX Sensors & Airborne Systems Ltd), SELEX Sistemi Integrati and MBDA.

In a context in which main world operators and international partners are present, the participation of Finmeccanica acquires a particular meaning this year. The Group, already present in the international scenario, plays an important role, also in view of the recent events, strengthened by the international alliance strategies realized in the aerospace and defence sectors.

In the pavillion of Finmeccanica, Telespazio illustrates the company’s activities and the main services in the fields of Earth Observation, ICT, navigation and infomobility. Futhermore, the Telespazio’s role in GALILEO , through the Galileo system simulation, GMES and COSMO-SkyMed programs are describe as well.
