- Teleport Services
With the availability of over 90 antennas, our International Space
Centres operate with the main satellites in the Atlantic, Indian
and European regions, to offer a wide range of products for the
broadcast market. Teleports have fibre-optic connectivity for
the link with the major domestic and international networks.
- Digital Platforms
Thanks to our consolidated role as international partner for the
broadcasters’ market, Telespazio offers to the customers its DVB
Digital Platform services, for a cost-effective solution to DTH
and contribution of TV and radio programs over Central and Eastern
Europe, the Middle East and North African countries.
- Turnkey Services
at Customers’ Premises
We provide teleport turnkey services at customers’ premises in
all geographical regions that include designing, installing, operating
and managing satellite transmitting systems. Moreover, disaster
recovery/backup solutions can be provided through our Space Centres.
- Mobile DNG (Digital
News Gathering) Services
Telespazio is the distributor of the BGAN (Broadband Global Area
Network) services, the innovative solution from Inmarsat for the
satellite transmission of live video streaming, IP voice and data.
We have developed a new solution, tailored on broadcasters needs,
which allows to send live feeds from anywhere in the world just
using a compact and lightweight terminal, integrated in a small
suitcase.
- Broadband IP Services
Where terrestrial broadband infrastructures are not available,
the demand of high-speed connectivity finds in “via satellite”
solutions the optimal merge among costs, performances and delivery
time. Telespazio offers bidirectional broadband services with
the highest quality standards in Middle East and Northern Africa
as well as Western, Central and Eastern Europe.
Telespazio is also pleased
to invite you to attend the demo of live DNG (Digital
News Gathering) services through BGAN at CABSAT MENA
& SATELLITE MENA 2010. The demo will take place each afternoon at
4:00 p.m. from 2nd to 4th March in our booth.
During the demo, we are going to present a small all-in-one suitcase,
tailored on broadcasters’ needs, to provide live DNG (Digital News
Gathering) services. This solution allows the transmission through
BGAN of high quality video streaming with a guaranteed minimum rate
of 384 kbps, with up to 450 kbps expected under optimal conditions.
Alternatively, the system can provides a reliable Store & Forward
service with a transfer rate up to 492 kbps that allows to send video
footages quickly to the video servers, to be incorporated into a subsequent
live broadcast.
BGAN services provide broadband connectivity with no geographical
limitations, offering voice and data services through lightweight
and transportable terminals. In addition to standard BGAN value proposition,
the Telespazio BGAN Service Centre offers to broadcasters
a wide range of value added services which include in particular the
availability of a dedicated fiber connectivity with
the Inmarsat POP in Amsterdam and the support of
a dedicated Customer Care active on 24/7 basis.
