RiskEOS
started in 2003 as a European network
of service providers for the management
of floods, fires and other natural made
disasters through all the critical phases:
preparedness, early warning, crisis and
post-crisis.
Telespazio supports Infoterra in the management of the
project, coordinating the Service Network which guarantees
the common quality standards of all the services provided
to the users and collect the users- requirements to plan
the further activities.
Besides, Telespazio is the service provider for the Burn
Scars Mapping service and for the location of Fire Hot Spots.

This image refers to the Web Gis system zooming
in on the Southern Italy on the 24th of July 2007.
It is clearly visible all the fires which affected this
region, especially in the area around Peschici, Gargano.
