BOSS4GMES (Building Operational Sustainable Services)
Given the final goal of the GMES initiative which is to evolve into a viable, sustainable and value added activity in support of the European policy needs, BOSS4GMES wants to lead the GMES programme towards the operationalization of its projects providing technical, financial and contractual foundations.
It targets the demonstration of the reliability of the products provided by GMES Fast-Track and Pilot services, the enhancement of inter-operability of GMES service structures and architectures by defining appropriate contracting principles and business models.
Telespazio is conducting a study into the current status and availability of service components both from within current services, and from other sources tat could be used for greater efficiency within the proposed GMES Fast Track Services; the result of this WP will be a comprehensive list of service components that could be potentially be placed into, and used operationally within the FTS service chain.
