Telespazio, Ras and Sailornet present "Sea Safety"

The innovative service of Sea Safety has been presented
today, within the 46th International Nautical Show of Genoa,
by Ras, Telespazio and Sailornet. The three companies have
integrated their competences to offer to the wide market
a unique and advanced system for yacht-men and sail-men.
The service has been created for the safety of yacht-men boats, either during navigation or when stationary in port or as roadsters, and it will be provided on-board through a Satellite Terminal and an Operations Centre that will process the received alarm/assistance signals and messages. |
The on-board system based on the Orbcomm technology allows, through a satellite localization-point finder, the connection between the boat and the Operations Centre for the broadcasting of alarm signals and the GPS positions. The Orbcomm Satellite System, with its constellation of 36 satellites in low orbits, guarantees high connection availability in almost any site and within a global coverage area.
The Ras insurance company will offer the Sea Safety Service to its clients, as integration and enlargement of the services already offered by the company nautical insurance policy “Passione Blu”.
