Telespazio platinum sponsor at the AFCEA Symposium (Rome, 12-14 September)

The international symposium “Aerospace
Technologies and Applications for Dual Use”
organised by AFCEA (The Armed Forces Communications
& Electronics Associations) will take place
at the Hotel Parco dei Principi in Rome
from 12 to 14 September.
The event, which will be opened by General
Pietro Finocchio, chairman of the
Rome Chapter of AFCEA, will be attended
by representatives of the Ministry of Defence,
the Civil Protection services, the European
Commission, the European Space Agency, the
Italian Space Agency, DGA France, the UK
Defence Academy, the Universities of Rome
Tor Vergata and La Sapienza, IFIP Paris-6
and Texas A&M University. Top representatives
of leading aerospace companies, including
Finmeccanica, Telespazio, Galileo Avionica,
Selex Communications, Selex Sistemi Integrati,
Telespazio, Thales Alenia Space and Cisco,
will also be present |
The AFCEA symposium is an important opportunity to discuss aerospace
technology’s great efficiency when applied in the civil sector in
the fields of natural disaster prevention, security, telemedicine,
the environmental monitoring of land, sea and pollution, meteorology
and geology.
