Telespazio is to take
part in the
Munich
Satellite Navigation Summit
to be
held from 9 to 11 March in Munich. The
event, which will include a display area,
is devoted to the theme of new applications
and services in the fields of satellite
navigation, telecommunications and information
technology, with a special focus on geo-information
technology.
The summit will turn the spotlight on
the Galileo programme, focusing in particular
on the
Public Regulated Services.
These encrypted-access services will provide
greater security in the areas of air,
maritime and rail transport.
Telespazio will have its own stand in
the display area, where it will present
its services in the field of satellite
navigation. Specifically, it will be the
occasion for the announcement of the forthcoming
inauguration of the
Galileo Control
Centre, built at the Fucino Space
Centre. Telespazio will also illustrate
its projects
I-NAV (
Integrated
NAVigation Services), developed as
part of the
LIMES
(
Land and Sea Monitoring for Environment
and Security) project,
Metis,
Mentore,
M-Trade
and
SCUTUM.
