Telespazio reached an agreement with
Intelsat to move the Vatican Radio Broadcast
Services currently operated via the Intelsat
801@328.5°E ( Atlantic Region ) and Intelsat
904@60.0°E (Indian Region) to, respectively,
Intelsat 907@332.5°E (Atlantic Region)
and Intelsat 904@60.0°E (Indian Region).
The Vatican Radio Broadcast networks
via Satellite covering the Atlantic and
Indian Regions will be configured with
two up-link antennas located in Telespazio
site of Fucino Space Centre and all the
receiving stations re-pointed on Intelsat
907@332.5°E (Atlantic Region) and Intelsat
904@60.0°E (Indian Region).
In the calculation of the new pointing
data, the remote sites can refer to the
following Telespazio’s procedure and the
simple program issued by Intelsat.
